A 115 acre Nature Conservancy nature preserve in the palisades region of the Kentucky River in Jessamine and Garrard (inaccessible) County. Good wildflower spotting spring through fall, and better river and palisade views in winter.

Trail Descriptions
Jim Beam Trail: A dirt trail with little elevation change through a wooded area. Old stone fences are visible. It has a couple of overlooks with winter views of the river.
Directions
From Nicholasville, take US 27 south. Pass Camp Nelson National Cemetery, then take the first right on Hall Rd. Take a right on Payne Ln and the Preserve will be at the end of the road.
