Shaker Village East Trailhead is behind the village on Shakertown Rd, but can be accessed from any of the main Shaker Village parking lots. Users of Shaker Village Trails must sign a waiver. Horseback riders must also pay at least a day use fee. See the Trail Brochure for more information.

Trail Descriptions
Meadow View: Along the gravel road for a backside view of The Historic Centre, past the prairie maze, over the pond dam and on mostly turf trails.
Tanyard: Turf trails through open restored native prairie, then past the Tanyard.
Palisades: Through the Kentucky River floodplain with views of the Palisades, High Bridge and a waterfall.
River Road: Crosses US-68, then descends 400 feet through millions of years of geologic time to Shaker Landing.
Village Loop: Follows Turnpike through The Historic Centre to The Farm, then overlaps the Meadow View Trail.

Take US 68 south into Mercer County. Follow signs to Shaker Village on right. Turn right, go around the Village and park in the lot on the back side. Alternately, park in the main parking area just off on the left as you enter the Village, or in the Trustee’s Building (Inn and Dining) lot.
