Paddling

Jessamine County is bordered on its southern side by 45 miles of the Kentucky River. Pools 6, 7, 8, and 9 and 80 miles of river can be accessed by ramps within the county or just across the river.  Several of the ramps provide access to highly scenic and remote areas for paddlers to enjoy. All locations are open dawn to dusk.
